I build organizational structures and tools at the intersection of learning, technology and social justice. I value approaches to thinking about technology and society that elevate critical theory, and constructionist approaches to learning.

Learning Experience Design

In the fall of 2018, TechBoston Academy and its 9th grade teachers started implementation of a program to rethink what their school day looks like. The goal of this process is to build an school environment for the 21st century that empowers its students to develop critical analysis, creative thinking and skillsets in technology.

As a consultant with STEAM Studio, I support the 9th grade teachers as they create student-driven, open-ended, project-based learning environments in their school day.

Workshop Design and Facilitation

Following my time as part of the Assembly program, I have begun to design learning experiences for non-coders to understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) works, and how it impacts them in their every day lives. The goal of these workshops is to help provide a foundation off of which the people most impacted by AI – young people and labor workers, among others – can then lead the conversation in AI’s future.

This project is still young and experimental.
